In the evolution of Uta Peyrer's work, we can trace two
fundamental lines that have intersected, culminating in her paintings from the last few years.
There is a sensitivity, evident in her treatment of broad planes, and subsequently in her layering of trnaslucent, subtle colour glazes,
and then there are important graphic elements. The first scattered dots, arranged in vertical, horizontal, circular or spiral structures,
become coloured rings, until the artist finally arrives at a definitive solution that best corresponds to her aesthetic objectives.
In the space of her canvases, where depth is created by layers by layers of colour glazes, an indeterminate quantity of limpid, coloured, circular forms
condense and simultaneously scatter, approaching and retreating in an illusion of oscillation. Uta Peyrer is able to depict chaos and regularity simultaneously.
With her distinctive use of coloured perspective she has overcome two-dimensionality, and has managed to extend the results of her quest to a transcendental scope.
The dimension that Uta Peyrer seeks to present is indicated by a distant light, which serves as a point of orientation on the demanding pilgimage in search of the meaning of human life.
